Virtual-staging disclosure

Room and Form delivers the original photograph beside a file that is identified as virtually staged. The staged image adds furnishings and decor. It is not a photograph of furniture that is in the room, and it is not a renovation.

North Carolina REALTORS has said virtual staging can be used when it is not misleading and is properly disclosed, and that adding furnishings is different from hiding disrepair. That is guidance to read, not a ruling that every MLS will accept every file. NC REALTORS guidance
